I arived on the first day oblivious to the 'sky' or 'earth' or my ability to embrace spirituality.I know it was somewhere over my head and beneath my feet but i hadn't stopped to think about it at all.Everthing has been an 'eye-opener' during this process of learning and practicing. acomplete renovation of my mind and physical body has undoubtly 'lift the veil' to a new world of awareness. My only awareness previously was knowing that I needed to do yoga reactivate myself. Now I look forward to re-entering the outside world with a freshly painted body and mind 'as strong as steel'. Just as awareness continues to chip away at the mould on the bricks, I look forward to sharing it with others. It completely changed me as a person and added so much value to my life. The quality of the training by Sindu Ma is far above regular teacher's as she not only taught us the physical aspect of yoga but also beautifully correlated the spiritual and pholosophical aspects as well. I reside in Pune and am now a full time yoga instructor with the complete onus going to Tulasidalam and Sindu Ma.

I thouroughly enjoyed the 1 month spent at the ashram where we not only studied but also got a wonderful opportunity to see the breathtaking beauty of Kerala as various sight seeing trips were organised for us. Sindu amma was warm, caring and knowledgeable in all aspects of Yoga. The physical, spiritual and intellectual aspects of yoga are covered in the course.

The daily schedule gave us enough time to practice asanas, theory classes and still left us ample time for self reflection and study. She was on her vacation enjoying her solitude until I started following her around. One evening I walked into the meditaion hall and there was this woman sitting there very casually just watching. It was the calmness on her glowing self that caught my attention, there was no pretensions of anything, she was so calm.
I went up to her ,sat in front of her,she was smiling. I asked her where she came from? What was her practice? She was silent and smiling!I offered her some peanuts I had in my hands. She took one from it and smiled.Next day again I saw her sitting in the same place just watching with a smile. With my tangled long hair, long string of rudraksha adorning my body , the saffron clothes and constant chanting I was seeking hard to be liberated. Here is a beautiful person who is dressed so nicely, decorated with a smile feeling and enjoying the state of freedom! From within me I became sure I had found my spirtual guide and to this day I've tried to follow to my best the way of knowledge and liberation she guides me through.

Welcome to all Sishus

I'm happy to put up this blog where you can share your memories.
Prasanna suggested the title . The thing was it was normal for me. When i came back in france in april 2007 i really followed the practise that sinduamma told me to follow, and after 7 month, it was time for me to go back in india near Sinduamma to be guided more deeper in my path. God gave me this chance to be guided on my spiritual path. This path is not something i can explain easily with words, it is an experience, a deep experience of watching, watching everything and see more than objective world. Of course according to the fluctuations of my mind, the depth is more or less but the process to stop the fluctuations and to watch is on my path. Sinduamma use to say it need a lot courage to walk on this path... I don't know...for me it seem natural in a way, sure sometimes i felt it was difficult but may be i made the path difficult in my mind, i complicate the path ,because after reaching a step i feel it was easy and quick. I always heard around me some people speaking of spirituality. Speak is not the experience of spirituality, it can be a part of it but its not our spiritual being, the spiritual experience, the spiritual life. To live a spiritual life, we don't need to be alone or with people who are spiritual. For me a spiritual life means go on living our life, nothing has changed except the way you see the life, the way you can enjoy the life. I spent almost 5 month in the ashram with sinduamma between november 2007 and march 2008, a beautiful experience sometimes difficult but only for my ego!!! Back to france, i am able to really enjoy life, each moment as a gift. The path is there and the goal is the liberation. severine

Namaste dear Sinduamma !
Every word and every advice, i can read from you in your mail or in your blog is
always divine as the life itself.
You can put this the below for students who are interresting for TTC.
With love and care. Om!..Om!...Om!!!
Shishuseverine

I did my TTC at Tulasidalam at school of yoga pada and it was a wonderfull personnal
experience in yoga. Its a really deeper experience and practice. This teaching is a
part of your daily life and every moment in a day even after you finish the one
month TTC, you go on your practice and everything become a piece of your path of
yoga. All your practice and that experience become a strong foundation for your
teaching itself after, and even your teaching became a part of your own practice. If
you do your TTC at school of yoga pada, be sure, you are blessed. The traditionnal
ahsram and teaching will be a bliss manifestation in your life. If you want to get
information, you can write me on this mail severine.me@voila.fr
severine from france
